Diane
received her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan.
For over thirteen years Diane has worked in medical and geriatric settings
addressing psychological, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual issues.
The scope of Diane's clinical skills include therapy with issues related to
children, teens, adults, couples, families, and married couples.
In addition to this, Diane is a Certified Trauma
Consultant, certified in Pastoral bereavement counseling, and certified as a
National Bereavement Facilitator. Diane has a unique background and
expertise in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships,
parenting, stress management, burn out, elderly care, emotional issues
associated with pain management, grief, loss, and End of Life Care.
Diane is especially skilled in assisting parents whose children have died.
Diane works from a Christian perspective and enjoys assisting others in
finding healing in their life. Diane also has four years experience in EMDR, an internationally
recognized treatment for trauma and its underlying emotional issues.
