His work experience includes Catholic Charities, Mindful Heart Counseling, Compass Counseling in Spring Arbor, and the Christian Mission Inc.

Stephen feels his abilities and gifts center around ages ten and above, along with diverse life stages. However, his counseling journey has also taken him to connect with younger men working through a mountain of difficulties they seem to face earlier and earlier in their lives. Stephen believes that psychology, theology, and spirituality in Christian counseling allow the client to focus on the diverse interventions and skills that we seem to lose during transitions or have limited opportunities to learn these skills. He is committed to helping and partnering with clients to explore their goals and destinies as they search and trust God during their journey.

He brings a welcoming and calming approach to the counseling relationship and can connect quickly with the client. Stephen’s counseling focuses on areas of anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment disorders, and marriage. ]
